Rosario Guerrero Asuncion's Obituary
Rosario Guerero "Sayong" Asuncion, 80, of Honolulu, passed away March 14, 2016. Born October 6, 2016 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Vicente Ramiro Guerrero and Maria Acebo Garcia Guerrero, Rosario was a retired laundry attendant for many years at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki. She is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Manuel Guerrero and Elias Guerrero, Sr.; sisters, Mercedes Cadiente, Rosalina Acupan, Petra Garcia, Lilia Cerezo and Araceli Bunag.
Rosario is survived by beloved husband, Esteban "Steve" Asuncion; sisters, Estefania Velasco and Francisca Aranda; sisters-in-law, Teodora Guerrero and Francisca "Shirley" Guerrero; brother-in-law, Tomas Bunag.
Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; wake service at 6:30 p.m.
A second visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Church; Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. with burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Interment Location: Chapel Hill #3, Lot 209, C-4
