Rose Tsunoda, known for her gentle compassion and resilient spirit, passed away peacefully in Kaneohe, Hawaii on May 15th, 2025. Born on January 27th, 1921, in Hawaii, Rose embodied kindness and hard work throughout her 104 years.
Her love for cooking was a testament to her affection for family and friends, often bringing everyone together around her table with warm meals and even warmer smiles.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late David Tsunoda. She is survived by her children: sons Leslie Tusnoda and Gary Tsunoda, and daughters Ellen Hamada, Eleanore Encarnacion, and Tammy Hisaka. She was preceded in passing by her husband David and son Dennis Tsunoda.
Her kind gestures and unwavering resilience touched the hearts of all who knew her. Rose's legacy of kindness lives on in the lives of her family and all those she embraced with her warmth.
She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished forever.
