Sergio Cabanting's Obituary
Sergio C. Cabanting, 77, of Kahului, a Hawaiian Cement truck driver, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Narvacan, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Sergio was a generous man that was a brother to many and called "dad" by many of the younger generation.
He is survived by wife Brigida; son Greg; brothers Lauro, Manuel and Apolinario; sisters Modesta Cabanting and Margarita Cabanting Artistes; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. March 30 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului. Services: 7 p.m. Wake: 5 p.m. April 1 at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. April 2 at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
