Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Sharon Tsutsumi
September 20th, 1944 - October 20th, 2025
We celebrate the beautiful life of Sharon Tsutsumi, who entered the world in Honolulu and filled 81 years with kindness, support, and steady responsibility. Her journey, ending peacefully in Ewa Beach, leaves us smiling at the many bright moments she shared.
Arts and crafts were Sharon’s joyful playground. Every handmade gift showed her generous heart and loyal spirit, turning simple materials into lasting memories. Friends still treasure the personalized birthday cards she created—each one thoughtfully designed to capture the unique spirit of its recipient. Visitors to her home would often find baskets of yarn and patterned fabric neatly arranged beside an ever-present cup of tea, quiet evidence of projects always in motion.
Though she never pursued titles or formal accolades, Sharon poured her energy into the roles that mattered most: nurturing creativity, fostering community, and caring for family.
As a mother, Sharon stood strong and supportive for her daughters, Susan Anderson and Debbie McNorton. They carry forward her responsible nature and kind way of caring for others. On countless evenings, the three of them could be found gathered around the kitchen table, doing various crafts such as diamond dots. Susan and Debbie will forever recall the joyous nights watching crime shows together.
Friends and family often spoke of Sharon’s unwavering loyalty. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, she made people feel valued and safe.
