Susana Marquez Salviejo's Obituary
Susana “Saning” Marquez Salviejo, age 88, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away November 23, 2017 in Waipahu. She was born May 19, 1929 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Buenaventura Marquez and Margarita Mahor Marquez, and was retired from United Laundry Company. She was preceded in death by loving husband Felipe Salviejo, daughter Petra Salviejo, sister Rosalia Africa and brothers, Jose Marquez and Eugenio Marquez.
She is survived by her children, Quirino “Query” (Erlinda) Salviejo and Armando “Larry” (Indalescia) Salviejo, Emelita (Dennis) Faeldonea and Arleen (Paul) Ramos; grandchildren, Kevin Lee Salviejo, Kenneth Salviejo, Kate Salviejo, Angeline Ivy Salviejo, Dale Faeldonea, Dennis “DJ” Faeldonea, Jr., Aaron Phillip Ramos, Aston Benjamin Ramos, Aysia Li’i Ramos; great-granddaughter, Lexene Ramos; brother, Ricarte Marquez.
Wake services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Catholic Prayer Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. A second service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Waipahu. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
