Tecla A Ganio's Obituary
Tecla A Ganio, 97, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on September 23, 1920. She was a devoutly religious, kind and generous. She meticulous in cleaning and maintaining the household. She liked to cook, have fun, gamble, was very popular and charming and like to help others. She had a very compassionate heart and was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of building a church for her community in Santa Rosa.
She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Evangeline. She is survived by her children, Betty (and her husband Freddie Nabung) and Pureza; her grandchildren, Alexa Bryanna, Nathan, Glenda, Catherine, and Frederick; and great-grandchildren, Kymani Nabung, Traxton Kaho, Teia Kaho, Jaelan Lutu, Carlanthny Lutu, Gianna Nabung, Joshua Nabung, and Jacob Nabung.
Funeral Vigil will be held on Friday at Cypress Lawns Memorial, March 23, 2017. At 10 am to 9 pm her body will be flown to Hawaii for a vigil on April 2, 2018 at 5-9 pm. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. There will be a Funeral Mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 10:30-11:30 and she will be laid to rest at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
