Thelma Yamasaki's Obituary
Thelma Kiku Yamasaki, age 101, passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 31, 2019. Thelma was bornin Hala'ula, North Kohala but spent most of her life in Honolulu. She and her husband, Jimmy Yamasaki, had 36 great years together before Jimmy passed away in 1985. Thelma worked as a Sears Retail Clerk and Catalog Manager for 39 years. Her passions were gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Sueko Miyashiro; son, Westley Yamasaki (wife, Jane Kikawa); two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Valley of the Temples starting at 2 pm.
