William Kapeliela Mills' Obituary
William Kapeliela Mills, 71, passed away at his home in Pearl City on April 1st. He was born in Honolulu on December 1, 1943 to Joseph Clark Mills and Lucy (Kapeliela) Chai. He was the youngest of eight children. He drove a cab for Charley’s Taxi, worked in construction, was a City and County lifeguard, and finished as a bus driver for MTL “The Bus” where he retired after 31 years of service.
He loved puttering with his plants in his yard, playing his guitar and singing Hawaiian songs and was always the life of the party during family and friend gatherings.
He is survived by his sons, Michael & wife Sandy Mills; Malcolm & wife Shelley Mills; grandchildren, Bryan K., Malia L., Jourdan Marie K., Justice K., and Jaezlyn K.L.M. Mills; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Lorina (Lo); his brothers, William Kanui, Hensley Mills, Joseph Mills, Ricky Mills; and sisters, Eleanor Lopez, Eloise McCullough and Beatrice (Nani) Kauo.

Visitation to his evening service will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Additional visitation to his funeral service will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 also at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 12:00 noon at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
