Young ok Oh's Obituary
Young Ok Oh was a caring wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. she rejoined God in Heaven on February 23, 2022 at the age of 87.
She was born on August 5, 1934 in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to Hawaii on June 20,1960 with her late husband Kun Chang Oh where she owned several successful Korean restaurants and clothing stores in Honolulu.
Young was a devoted member of Bethel Korean Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her dog Bailey. She is survived by her brother Phillip Park and his wife Jan Park. Daughters, Teresa Oh Kakazu and husband Michael Kakazu, and Grace Oh; sons, Dr. James Oh and wife Tracey Oh, and Michael Oh; grandchildren Nicklaus Kakazu, Jace Oh, and Paige Oh.
Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Nu'uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary-East Chapel. Visitations will be at 4:30 p.m. and services will commence at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 29 at Valley of the Temples.
