Alfredo Arios Claro Jr., a civil engineer and former president of PICE Singapore Chapter at BRK PTE LTD Singapore, died on September 9, 2021 at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He was 59 years-old. Jun (Popong), as he was fondly called by his relatives, is survived by his mother, Juanita Claro; his sisters, Lilia Darroch and Melissa Penaflorida; his wife, Judy Brabante; his former wife and mother of his children, Rowena Enrique; and his daughters, Roweine and Patricia Claro. Jun was born in Santa Cruz, Manila, Philippines on June 11, 1962 to Juanita and Alfredo Claro Sr. He graduated from the University of the East in 1984 with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Jun was an avid singer and loved dancing Zumba. He enjoyed fancy clothing and long walks. He also loved sharing his karaoke songs with his siblings. Additionally, his love for photography truly showed in the many photos he took of his job site, his accomplishments, and food etc. Jun will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Inurnment service is scheduled on October 20, 2021 at 12pm (HST) at the Valley of the Temple in Kāneʻohe, Hawai’i.
