Efren Marcos
Celebrating the life of Efren Marcos – born January 28, 1958 in the Philippines. Son of Bert Marcos and Josephine Garcia, he was the oldest of five children. He attended Kaimuki High School c/o ’77 and worked at Midas and Fastlube Flagship as a mechanic. Efren was married to Mila Farinas in February 1999. He was also a loving father to John Jr., Efren Jr., Leilani, and Nani. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Waipahu. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and football. Efren also enjoyed going to Vegas, and his football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He made friends where-ever he went and was loved by all. He was good natured, loving, laid-back, friendly, family oriented, and patient. This good friend, loving husband, and father is loved and will be missed. Funeral service for Efren will be on Monday April 8, 2019 at Valley of the Temples Chapel. Visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 pm with service to begin at 6:30 pm. Additional service will be on April 9, 2019 at St Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 9:00 am with mass to begin at 10:00 am. There will be a burial to follow at 12:00 pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
