Jo-Ann Hideko Nelson passed peacefully in Honolulu, Hawaii, on February 5th, 2026, at age 72. She was born in the same city on May 22nd, 1953. She was known for her kind and compassionate nature.
She is survived by her spouse, Andres Nelson, daughter, Tiffany. Her grandsons, Lucian and Max, also carry her memory forward. She is further survived by her brothers, Calvin Takara and Calvert Takara.
